The Shri Ram School students arrived at Royal Global School under the Round Square Exchange Programme with smiles and hopes of making many memories. They were greeted by our Principal, Dr. Dillip Kumar Panda, and Vice Principal, Ms. Binita Jain. Our students welcomed them with tikas and Gamochas. They embarked on a walkthrough of the Social Science exhibition presented by the Royalites, followed by a tour of RGU and snacks at the RGU cafe with RGS teachers and hostellers. In the evening, a visit to Tirupati Balaji Temple was arranged, accompanied by RGS teachers, followed by dinner at the hostel mess.The next day began early with trekking and a bus ride to Bhimasankar Dham Jyotirlinga Temple. Afterward, guests returned to the hostel for a bath and breakfast before setting out. In the afternoon, they explored Panbazar, including the Mahabahu Brahmaputra Heritage Centre, River Front, and Lachit Ghat. The day concluded with dinner at the hostel.
The second day of the RGSxTSRS Exchange Programme began early with guest students engaging in physical training. After breakfast, they attended the Investiture ceremony at the RGS Colosseum. By noon, they departed for Sualkuchi, visiting Sidheswari Temple and enjoying a traditional Bhog (lunch). The afternoon was spent exploring Sualkuchiās cultural sites, including the Sualkuchi Institute, Sualkuchi Museum, Hati Satra, and Gandhi Ashram. The evening concluded with a Theatre Workshop and dinner at the hostel mess.
The third day started even earlier. After breakfast, they left at 6 AM for Shillong and Cherrapunji for a short trip, enjoyed breakfast at Ri Kynjai Resort, and visited Laitlum Canyon. The day ended with dinner at the hotel. Another exciting day! On the fifth day of the RGSxTSRS Exchange Programme, the TSRS students stepped into classrooms with the Royalites, while escorting teachers took on the role of guest instructors in a few classes. After lunch, a lively Bihu workshop unfolded, introducing them to the festival's beauty and teaching its basic steps. To end the day, students embarked on home stays with their host families.
