The School facilitates spacious and very well stocked open shelf Library cum Resource Centre designed to encourage students in a variety of subjects and to allow research and in-depth study. In addition the well-equipped School library will stock variety of newspapers, magazines, journals with computers and internet connection.
For the first time in this region, RGS has introduced full suite 3D labs which provide a unique and highly immersive experience to view curriculum concepts in life-like format in 3D .The3D smart lab at RGS is fully equipped with stereoscopic 3D projection system, 3D electronic viewing glasses and specially designed 3D curriculum library.
RGS has established two modern ICT labs ‘mouse house and chips and Bytes’ featuring the latest hardware and software along with high speed Internet connectivity. Students are provided with computer education Programs which surpasses the CBSE stipulations and enables the students to apply what they have learnt in real life experiences. The ERP technology manages the school. Both children and students have access to get updates regarding activities and progress.
In order to develop a well balanced personality and communication skills, children should be well equipped to understand subtle emotional and cultural components to react appropriately under all circumstances. Understanding the magnitude of the importance of acquiring proper communication skills RGS provide its children with a Digital Multimedia Language Lab, ‘Linguatronics’ which is managed by renowned Wordsworth lab.
Science, Math, EVS Lab
At RGS students are constantly encouraged to test theories, prove concepts and validate hypotheses. To substantiate theoretical expressions and to provide sound practical training the school has separate full fledged labs.’HomiBhaba Chamber’ physics lab, ‘Rutherford’, chemistry lab, ‘Galapagos’, life science lab. Two well equipped Math and Environment science Labs are also provided for making learning interesting. The labs are well designed keeping in mind the safety of the students. A strong well laid out sports program has been worked out in consultation with SAI and experienced National level coaches and Director of Physical education have been appointed for effective implementation of the program. Each child will be offered a major and two minor games to play.
If a student is selected for inter school/CBSE/ CCA event, his participation is compulsory except on health grounds. If selected, they are sent to outstation schools to participate in the events.
Students' health will be supervised by well qualified and experienced doctors who will be on the panel of School’s specialists. The School will have its own infirmary under the charge of two qualified resident nurses. At the beginning of each term, each student has to undergo a routine medical examination so as to monitor a safe and healthy environment both physically and psychologically. The School infirmary will work on the effort to prevent, detect, address and resolve health problems successfully and enhance the quality of life of the School children and Staff and every member of the School community. Children will be taken to specialists in case of emergencies.
Transport service is available depending on the number of students from any particular area and route . The School is having its own fleet of 27 air-conditioned, deluxe buses which ferry our day school students and teachers. All vehicles are equipped with latest and most efficient communication technology and vehicle tracking system from GPRS system . Parents can track the buses /routes by login id/password. Each bus is having a male and a female attendant .
The environment of the Royal Global School has been designed with the well-being of the inhabitants in mind. Safety and security of students and staff of RGS is paramount as are the genial atmosphere in the campus. Substantial investments have been made to ensure that the campus is equipped with the latest high tech security systems and I.P. Security Cameras with Video recording facilities, while maintaining the feel of openness and freedom.
The entire campus (Royal Knowledge Park) is having high boundary wall and grounded by armed security person from the four security towers. The campus is patrolled by armed and unarmed guards round the clock. Every individual and vehicle has to go through a standard security check procedure while entering or exiting through the gate. Amaltas , the Girls’ Hostel and Gulmohar the Boys’ Hostel are having security towers where from the armed security personnel keep an eye on the moment of the people .The lady security guard remains in the Hostel along with the Girls, House Mistress & Teachers . Boys Hostel is manned by arm guard at the entry of Amaltas . Students are allowed to move outside the campus only when escorted by the teachers and security guard .
Home away from home
When students walk through the portals of the Royal Global School Hostel, it will take a while to let go of the apron strings and settle down. The extra individual care and concern so needed for the all-round growth and development at that stage will be ensured by housing them in centrally air-conditioned rooms under the personal care of House Master.
Meals will be served in the Dining Halls with the Hostel Wardens supervising breakfast, lunch, evening tea and supper. An experienced catering manager will ensure that sterile, nourishing, wholesome and calorific Pan-Indian, Chinese, Continental vegetarian fare fills hungry young stomachs.
Hostel Facility will be available from Grade IV onwards.
