RGS Outreach on Menstrual Hygiene

The UTSARGA – Social Outreach Club of Royal Global School recently visited Nortap L.P. School, Sonapur, to mark Menstrual Hygiene Day. A group of 21 students, led by Club Coordinator Mahua Guha Kanungoe and Geetanjali Goswami, conducted an interactive session to educate girls on menstrual hygiene and break the stigma surrounding menstruation.
The session aimed to foster open dialogue and empower young women with knowledge to manage their periods safely and confidently. In alignment with global efforts for a period-friendly world, the initiative emphasized health, dignity, and equal opportunity.
To spread joy, the club also distributed chocolates, biscuits, fruit drinks, and stationery to the students. The event concluded with spirited musical performances by the Nortap students, showcasing teamwork and creativity.
