Grace in Bani Thani
Sayantana Saikia, a student of Grade XII Humanities, has created a portrait of a lady in classic traditional Indian attire. The harmonious painting is inspired by the iconic depiction of Radha in the Bani Thani style. The lady is dressed in a light purple saree, complemented by a matching head covering draped gracefully over her dark, curly hair. She gently holds the veil with her right hand, adding to the sense of poise and elegance.
Adorned with intricate jewelry made of gold and pearls, the ornaments feature gemstones in shades of green, red, and white. A dove is delicately perched on her left hand, beautifully integrated into the composition. The overall atmosphere of the painting exudes serenity and grace, capturing a quiet moment of devotion.
