Grade IV Debate on Smartphones Held at RGS

The Royal Debating Society (Vox Populi) hosted an individual debate competition for Grade IV students on 19th May. The motion for the debate was: “This House believes that children should be allowed to have smartphones.”
The Proposition emphasized the importance of parental supervision in guiding smartphone use, while the Opposition argued that owning smartphones does not necessarily make children smarter. Both sides presented well-structured and thoughtful arguments.
