At the museum, the children saw traditional clothes and old tools that reflected Assam’s rich culture. They learned about the importance of silk in the state’s heritage. At the weaving centre, the students enjoyed watching weavers create mekhela chadors and sarees on looms and were amazed by the skill involved.
