Capacity Building Program – Day 2
The second day of the workshop commenced with an insightful session conducted by the resource person, Er. S. Deb, focusing on enhancing assessment practices in classrooms. The session highlighted the importance of formative and summative assessments and their role in tracking student progress. Special emphasis was given to competency-based assessment, where teachers learned to design questions that test understanding, application, and critical thinking rather than rote learning.
The session was interactive, with practical examples and activities that helped participants create and refine their own questions.
