“A Harmonious Tribute to Sri Sankar Dev”

In a heartfelt tribute to the renowned Vaishnavite saint, Sri Sankar Dev, the students of RGS came together to celebrate his Tithi. The assembly began with a captivating Satriya dance performance and a melodious Borgeet rendition.

The highlight of the event, however, was the Nam Kirtan. As the rhythmic sounds of the Khol and Taal filled the air, the students joined in, their voices rising in unison in a beautiful display of devotion and harmony. It was a heartwarming sight to see young children, from grades 1-7, clapping along to the beat without being prompted.

The Nam Kirtan provided a unique opportunity for the students to experience the rich cultural heritage of Assam and to connect with the teachings of Sri Sankar Dev. The event was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impression on the young minds.
