A New Journey of Empathy Begins
As part of the newly launched initiative “Nurturing Futures,” four students- Anayika Sarkar, Akshita Roy Kashyap, Puja Das and Pratiksha Das represeing the Grade 11 Humanities, along with their Homeroom Teacher, Pooja Bhattacharjee visited Anandamarg Ashram on 22/11/2025.
Nurturing Futures is a project adopted by the Humanities students to mentor and support underprivileged children through year-long guidance, learning sessions, and emotional bonding. Each student is paired with a buddy whom they will nurture, empower, and grow with throughout the year.
During today’s visit, the students interacted warmly with the children, offered gifts, identified their buddies, and exchanged a promise of care, consistency, and companionship.
A meaningful beginning to a journey rooted in empathy and responsibility.
