‘Traditional outfits are like poetry in motion, telling stories of our
rich heritage’
On the 21st of September, Royal Global School hosted the vibrant event “Ethnic Ensemble” at the Broadway. Organized on a Saturday, this celebration was dedicated to the students and parents of Grade 2, with the aim of showcasing cultural diversity and promoting values of inclusivity and unity. The event brought forth an exquisite display of ethnic attire from various states across India.
Around thirty participants, representing the four sections of Grade 2, stepped onto the stage with enthusiasm, dressed in traditional ethnic wear that reflected timeless elegance. States such as Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Assam, Jammu & Kashmir, Nagaland, and Maharashtra were beautifully represented by the parent-child duos. Some grandparents also joined their grandchildren, with one particular trio winning a special prize for their heartwarming performance.
The first prize was awarded to Drihaan Bharali (2B), the second to Abir Chamaria (2A), while Jagpreet S. Raina (2C) and Avira Agarwal (2A) shared the third prize.
The event was judged by Mrs. Devachandana Oja and Mrs. Priti Khakholia, who praised all the contestants for their brilliant performances, remarking that the competition was exceptionally tough.
