Discovering Air Through Play
The Grade-1 Royalites delved into the properties and applications of air in the classroom. This immersive experience encouraged hands-on exploration and observation, fostering a comprehensive grasp of air properties while nurturing creativity. With the help of a couple of activities like hanging two balloons and bursting one to see whether air has weight, cutting off air supply to blow out the candles, and blowing paper balls to show the pressure of air and finally teaching them to make their own paper mills. The fusion of theoretical knowledge and practical application provides students with a profound appreciation for the science underlying everyday phenomena.
