Educational Trip to the Brahmaputra Heritage Centre
Our Grade 4 students recently embarked on an exciting educational trip to the Brahmaputra Heritage Centre, where they explored the rich cultural and environmental history of the mighty Brahmaputra River. This trip was a wonderful opportunity for students to connect with nature, history, and local traditions, all while learning outside the classroom.
During the visit, students got to learn about the river’s significance in the lives of people living along its banks, its role in shaping the geography of Assam, and its importance in the culture.
The museum tour was an eye-opening experience for everyone. Students learned about the river’s role in shaping the lives of people living along its banks, from ancient times to the present day. They explored various exhibits that showcased the river’s diverse wildlife, traditional crafts, folklore, and the history of local communities who depend on the river for fishing, farming, and transportation.
Overall, the trip to the Brahmaputra Heritage Centre was both educational and enjoyable, helping students understand the importance of preserving our natural heritage while also experiencing the beauty and history of one of India’s most iconic rivers.
