Mini Adventures, Lasting Memories
The most anticipated event of the year the “Night Spend Program” for Grade 2 students at Royal Campus was a resounding success. This enjoyable event provided a unique and memorable experience for all participants. The children arrived at school on November 8th, their colorful suitcases in tow, brimming with excitement and smiles.
After a full day of classes, the enthusiastic little ones gathered in the central courtyard for some fun and games. Following their evening snacks, the students enjoyed an engaging movie at the Broadway, which was followed by a delightful storytelling session led by Ms. Sanjukta Borah and Ms. Jenny Rohlupui.
As night fell, the tired but happy children had a hearty dinner and participated in a book reading session before bedtime. The next morning began with a refreshing nature walk around the campus, where the boys and girls engaged in light exercises.
Post-breakfast, the students returned to their classrooms for an activity called Log Wood Writing, conducted by art and craft teachers Mr. Lakhyajit Bora and Ms. Banashree Neog Baruah. Following this, a Rock Painting session led by Ms. Nabanita Baruah took the creative energy to new heights.
After a delicious lunch, the students were ready to head home, carrying with them wonderful memories of the event. Programs like these foster friendships, teamwork, and independence, giving children a taste of adventure and the great outdoors within the safety of their school environment. The students’ response was overwhelmingly positive, and they truly had a whale of a time.
