National Junior Individual Speech and Debate Championship 2025

Royal Global School participated in the National Junior Individual Speech and Debate Championship 2025, organised by the Indian Debating League in association with the Debating Society at IIT Guwahati. The theme for this year’s competition was “Guardians of the Wild.”
The event featured multiple formats, including Interpretive Reading, Impromptu Speech, Persuasive/After-Dinner Speech, and Debates. Out of the 18 students representing our school, seven qualified for the finale, which was conducted offline on the IIT Guwahati campus on 7th December. We were also delighted to have Ms. Ankita Pansari (Public Speaking Educator) deliver the keynote address during the finals.
Our finalists were:
Lower Junior Category (Grades 3, 4, and 5):
• Ishanvi Siotia
• Samar Siotia
• Hrudrani Bhattacharjee
• Navika Jhunjhunwala
Upper Junior Category (Grades 6 and 7):
• Samaira Jain
• Rahil Prasad Sharma
• Khushii Choudhary
Our students competed with peers from across India and showcased remarkable enthusiasm, confidence, and eloquence. Their performances—across all speaking and debating formats—left a lasting impression on judges and audiences alike.
