Royal Global School shone at the 19th East India Debates, hosted by The Assam Valley School, where 14 premier schools competed in a celebration of wit and eloquence.
Our team opened with a thrilling win against AVS Red—the eventual champions—making us the only team to defeat them. A second-round victory over Hollotoli School and a spirited quarterfinal with St. George’s College highlighted our clarity, confidence, and strategic thinking.

With this spirit, the students of Royal Global School marched into the arena of the CHUCKS, JEDI and Quiz Competitions, held from 28th to 30th August 2025, where eight of our young talents accompanied by the teacher, Mousumi Bhattacharjee, showcased their brilliance, determination, and skill and left an indelible mark with their grit, determination, and talent.
In the CHUCKS tournament, our team fought with passion and strategy, securing 2 victories out of 4 matches. The players who represented the school were:

A RAINY DAY WITH THE STUDENTS
The waterlogged streets and unusually late hours could have dampened any child’s spirits. But imagine their delight when they discovered that the Chairman of their school, Dr. A.K. Pansari, was travelling with them in the very same bus! It was a ride of 20 minutes for the students with their Chairman.

On Tuesday, August 26th, 2025, Grade X and Psychology students from Grades XI and XII gathered at the Broadway venue for Psychology Confluence, an academic session themed "Psychology – Its Scope and Prospects." Dr. Prince C. P., Associate Professor at The Assam Royal Global University, led the session, with the school director and head of the psychology department in attendance.
Dr. Prince delivered an engaging presentation tracing psychology’s journey from Western origins to its development in India, contrasting cultural approaches and highlighting the field’s vast career potential. His use of personal stories made complex theories relatable and insightful.
Two interactive activities stood out: an art therapy session where students illustrated their fears, and a mindfulness exercise involving a raisin to emphasize sensory awareness.
The session was both informative and inspiring, deepening students’ interest in psychology as an academic and professional field.
Royal Global School celebrated the birth anniversary of Mother Teresa with reverence and simplicity. The ceremony began with floral offerings as a mark of respect to the beloved humanitarian. Students presented a soulful song dedicated to her life of compassion and service, filling the atmosphere with warmth and devotion. The celebration served as a reminder of her timeless message of love, kindness, and selfless service to humanity.

The Department of History conducted an Art Integrated Learning (AIL) session on “Rhythms of Devotion” in alignment with NEP 2020 and the Grade 12 NCERT chapter Bhakti and Sufi Traditions. The programme began with a graceful Sattriya dance performance by Shayantana Saikia, reflecting the devotional essence of the art form. This was followed by an insightful presentation by Aadidev Basumatary on the Satras of Assam, emphasizing their cultural significance and the deep influence of Bhakti philosophy on Sattriya. An engaging audio-visual round on Sufi songs further enhanced student participation, enabling them to explore the unique features and expressions of devotion in music.
Attended by Grade 12 Humanities students, the Vice Principal, Ms. Binita Jain, and Ms. Pooja Bhattacharjee, the half-hour session enriched learning by seamlessly weaving history with performing arts, transforming devotion into an experiential journey.
From August 22–24, 2025, two Grade 11 students, Vridhi Harlalka and Saumyaa Sikaria, along with AFS Coordinator Dr. Karabi Das, represented Royal Global School at the AFS India Regional Meet (East Zone) hosted by Sai International Residential School, Cuttack, and Sai International School, Bhubaneswar.
The program began with a visit to the Dhauli Shanti Stupa, linking the conference theme “Global Goals: Local Actions” with India’s heritage of peace and harmony. The following days featured inspiring sessions by eminent speakers including Shri Prithviraj Harichandan, Dr. Swati Mishra, and Dr. Kaibalya Kumar Sethi, who highlighted youth leadership, intercultural exchange, climate action, and peacebuilding.
Workshops, cultural performances, and interactive sessions fostered collaboration and celebration of diversity. A visit to Munda Sahi village for a street play on hygiene reinforced the power of local action for global impact.
The meet concluded with a valedictory session, felicitations, and heartfelt reflections. The enriching experience offered students learning, cultural exchange, and community engagement, leaving them motivated to embrace their roles as responsible global citizens.
Royal Global School’s much-awaited exhibition Triveni, was held on 23rd August 2025 with great enthusiasm. The event was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. R. C. Jain (Chairman, Board of Secondary Education, Assam) and Guest of Honour Prof. Rupam Jyoti Sarma (HoD, Chemistry, Gauhati University).
The exhibition featured diverse sections—Science with models on renewable energy and robotics, Maths with puzzles and real-life applications, Performing Arts with vibrant performances, and Languages with powerful slam poetry. The Mass Media segment honoured Dr. Bhupen Hazarika’s centenary, while a puppet show by the primary section delighted all.
STEM projects on AI and space, Humanities displays on history and social issues, and Commerce innovations on finance and entrepreneurship further enriched the experience.
Parents and guests praised the collaborative effort, with Triveni standing out as a celebration of creativity, curiosity, and innovation.
Janmashtami at Royal Global School was celebrated with devotion and joy, featuring engaging storytelling of little Krishna’s mischiefs, a soulful flute rendition of Shri Govinda Hare Murari, and a captivating dance drama showcasing the bond between Krishna and Yashoda.
Royal Global School celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm. Despite an overcast sky, the Tricolour soared high to the sound of a soulful flute rendition. Chairman Dr A.K. Pansari and Vice-Chairman A.K. Modi hoisted the national flag. Director Dr. Arup Mukhopadhyay addressed the gathering, reflecting on India’s journey since independence, its colonial legacy, and the need to focus beyond GDP and geopolitics towards human rights and inclusivity. Patriotic performances by students, including “Ma Tujhe Salaam,” a keyboard rendition of “Sare Jahan Se Acha” by Samaya Pansari, vibrant dances, and the skit “Flames of Freedom,” captivated the audience. The event concluded with light refreshments.
On August 7, Royal Global School hosted a dynamic Career Counselling Fair for Classes 11 & 12. Moderated by Mr. Ajay Sharma, the session offered real-world insights and stressed the need for thoughtful career planning. Citing industry giants like LG & Samsung, Mr. Sharma highlighted the growing demand for skills in emerging fields like Data Science.
Director Mr. Arup Kr. Mukhopadhyay encouraged students to channel their thoughts purposefully to unlock future success.
With participation from 10 reputed universities, the fair provided students with valuable exposure and expert guidance.

The four talented girls of RGS have made us immensely proud by clinching the Gold Medal at the CBSE Far East Zone Cricket Tournament, held at KT Global School, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, from 6th to 10th August 2025.
Their stellar performance has earned them the honour of representing the East Zone Team at the upcoming CBSE National Cricket Tournament, to be held in Bhopal in October 2025.

Royal Global School proudly hosted the CBSE Cluster-I Athletics Meet 2025-26 across three premier venues—SAI Complex, Sarusajai Stadium, and Royal Global School, Guwahati—from 1st to 3rd August. The three-day event witnessed 542 athletes from 57 schools competing across 54 events, showcasing remarkable grit, determination, and sportsmanship.
The meet was inaugurated by Shri D.K. Mittal, Executive Director, SAI Regional Centre, Guwahati, along with Shri Shambhoo Yadav, Deputy Director, SAI NCOE, and Dr. Arup Kumar Mukhopadhyay, Director, Royal Global School. The closing ceremony was graced by Mr. Shambhoo Yadav and Ms. Binita Jain, Vice Principal, Royal Global School. Mr. Hemen Bordoloi was appointed as the official CBSE Observer for the meet.
