Royal Global School hosted its first Alumni Meet on 22 December, 2025, marking a memorable milestone in the institution’s journey. The event was graced by the Chairman of the institution Dr. A K Pansari. It began with a short yet graceful introductory programme that warmly welcomed alumni back to their alma mater and rekindled cherished memories of school life.
The highlight of the evening was an engaging round-table question-and-answer session with the Director of the school. The interactive exchange provided alumni an opportunity to share experiences, seek guidance, and reflect on the school’s evolving vision, fostering a strong sense of connection and pride.
Adding vibrancy to the celebration, the renowned band Malkouns enthralled the audience with a soulful and energetic performance, creating an atmosphere of joy and nostalgia. The meet concluded on a high note, strengthening bonds across generations and laying the foundation for a thriving alumni community.
Founders Day at Royal Global School, began with a note, a memory, and a collective pause. The evening unfolded as a tribute in motion: the School Orchestra opened the skies, “Akashor Bukut” breathed as a requiem, honouring Dr. Bhupen Hazarika the Bard of the Brahmaputra on his Centenary year while mourning the sudden silence of Zubeen Garg. Finally, the musical Chanakya fused intellect, rhythm, and theatre into one commanding narrative. In the presence of Chief Guest Ms. Sunita Khaund Bhuyan, and guided by the vision of second-generation Founder and Executive Director Sikha Modi Pansari, the celebration was not just well attended, it became a shared remembrance, where legacy, loss, and learning found grace and harmony under one roof.

Amidst the vibrant hustle and preparations of the Founders’ Day celebrations, the spirit of DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) remained undisturbed today. True to the ritual, the entire school community students, teachers, and administrative staff paused together to observe the silent reading session with enthusiasm and intent. For those moments, the campus found its calm, as books took centre stage and every reader immersed themselves in quiet reflection. This graceful balance between celebration and stillness beautifully reaffirmed the school’s commitment to nurturing a strong and enduring reading culture, even during the busiest of days.
On December 19, 2025, the school hosted a vibrant Christmas Assembly that featured a Nativity play interwoven with traditional Christmas carols. The occasion also acknowledged students for their Random Acts of Kindness, honouring Risha Agarwal and Riana Agarwal (EY 1), Krisha Agarwal (Stage 1), Navya Agarwal (Grade 1B), Aashi Sharma (Grade 3A), Darsheel Agarwalla (Grade 3A), Pankti Agarwal (Grade 3A), and Watkin R. Ringzoum (Grade 11).
Addressing the gathering, the Director, Dr. Arup Mukhopadhyay, emphasised the importance of forgiveness, highlighting that the true essence of the season lies in one’s inner spirit rather than in outward displays.
The celebration concluded on a joyful note as students from the Neev and Primary sections were delighted by the special appearance of Santa Claus during their assembly.
Royal Global School proudly announces that Vihaan Upadhyay, a student of Grade X, has been selected to participate in the prestigious national programme “Pariksha Pe Charcha”, an interactive session with the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi.
The event, scheduled to be held on 21st December 2025, aims to create a positive and stress-free environment for students by addressing exam-related concerns and motivating young minds to approach learning with confidence and clarity.

Mutthi Bhar Anaaj -A Handful of Grains
On 18th December, 2025, 8 volunteers of Royal Global School, Guwahati visited Assam Sishu Kalyan Sadan, Sundarbari, Guwahati, as a part of Mutthi Bhar Anaaj -A Handful of Grains initiative under the aegis of the AFS Community Service Program.
The donation of dry rations (rice, wheat, pulses, maida, ata, sugar, salt, flattened rice, semolina, gram flour, etc.) addressed their practical needs. The initiative was a testament to the transformative power of empathy and human connection, leaving a profound impact, inspiring others to contribute, such initiatives can lead to substantial positive change in the community and all to nurture bonds of care and kindness in their lives.
Royal Global School proudly hosted the Junior School Symphony – Royal Symphony, a spectacular event that beautifully showcased the creativity, confidence, and talent of our young learners. The programme was graced by our esteemed Chief Guest, filmmaker Ms. Rima Das, whose presence inspired both students and the school community. The Guest of Honor was a parent of our student of Grade IV , Mrs Aparajita Bhargarh whose name was picked from a draw of lots.
The Chairman’s Medal holds a place of great honour as it acknowledges not just academic excellence, but also character, leadership, and a spirit of service that truly reflects the values of our school. This year, the medals were handed over by the Chief Guest to students who showcased exceptional literary talent by authoring and publishing books, by holding top positions in International Math Olympiad, Debate Competitions and in the Assam Book of Records .
This was followed by the symphony that transported the audience into a magical world inspired by Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, titled “Charlie’s Chocolate Dream” where imagination came alive through vibrant performances, music, and storytelling. Our Early Years and Junior School students captivated everyone with their enthusiasm, expressions, and stage presence, making the event a truly memorable celebration.
The success of Royal Symphony reflected the dedication of our students, the guidance of our teachers, and the unwavering support of parents. It was a joyful reminder of how learning, creativity, and fun blend seamlessly at Royal Global School.
Grade 9C conducted the morning assembly today in observance of Human Rights Day. To commemorate this important occasion, a guest speaker from UNICEF, Ms. Ananya Goswami, was invited. She possesses extensive expertise in social policy and strategic planning, with a strong focus on human rights–based approaches to development programming.
Ms. Goswami enlightened the students on the significance of human rights, particularly child rights, and explained their essential role in building a just and equitable society. She highlighted that with every right comes a corresponding duty and stressed the importance of allowing others to enjoy their rights without interference. Students were encouraged to recognize their responsibilities and respect the rights of those around them.
An interactive session on human rights was then conducted by Ms. Ananya Goswami, during which students participated enthusiastically. The session concluded with the screening of a UNICEF video, offering deeper insight into the organization’s global work and the importance of safeguarding human rights.
Royal Global School participated in the National Junior Individual Speech and Debate Championship 2025, organised by the Indian Debating League in association with the Debating Society at IIT Guwahati. The theme for this year’s competition was “Guardians of the Wild.”
The event featured multiple formats, including Interpretive Reading, Impromptu Speech, Persuasive/After-Dinner Speech, and Debates. Out of the 18 students representing our school, seven qualified for the finale, which was conducted offline on the IIT Guwahati campus on 7th December. We were also delighted to have Ms. Ankita Pansari (Public Speaking Educator) deliver the keynote address during the finals.

We are proud to share that Parth Jain of Class 6 represented the Assam Team and brought home the Gold Medal at the 5th Sub Junior East Zone National Roll Ball Championship 2025.
The prestigious event was organised by the Assam Roll Ball Association on 6th and 7th December, 2025 at the Rudra Singha Roll Ball Ground.
On 5 December 2025, the Grade 11 Humanities students Puja, Ragini, Yashita, Anayika, and Varenya ,together with their homeroom teacher, Ms. Pooja Bhattacharjee, visited Anandamarg Ashram as part of their “Nurturing Futures” initiative. They contributed gifts of daily necessities and a monetary donation towards the marriage of one of the Ashram’s residents. The team also spent time with the “buddies” adopted under the programme sharing warmth and meaningful interactions. Their visit highlighted how compassion and collective effort can make a real difference, reinforcing the purpose of Nurturing Futures.
As part of a National Project aimed at updating Indian Growth Charts , a team of medical experts from Pune guided by Dr. Vaman Khdilkar and Dr. Anuradha Khadilkar measured the height , weight and head circumference of students aged 5 to 18. These updated growth charts will incorporate data from our region making them more accurate and relevant for assessing children’s growth

After a short break for examinations, today’s DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) Time resumed with refreshing enthusiasm across the campus. As the bell rang, the students, teachers, and staff settled into a calm and focused silent reading session. The collective participation highlighted the strong reading culture within the school and reaffirmed our shared commitment to nurturing mindful and joyful readers.
We are delighted to share that our students have successfully completed the 8-week Orientation Certificate Course under the School Connect Program by IIT Madras – Centre for Outreach and Digital Education (CODE).
The School Connect Program, a flagship initiative of IIT Madras, bridges the gap between school and higher education by empowering students of Classes X–XII to explore emerging fields and make informed academic and career choices.
This achievement marks an important step in our students’ journey of discovery, as they build a strong foundation in science, technology, and innovation — preparing them for a future filled with possibilities.

Refresher training reinforces defensive driving techniques, hazard perception, and effective response to potential dangers, which directly ensures improved safety and efficiency.
Officials from the Transport Department conducted a refresher training session in the campus for our Bus Drivers, Helpers and Conductors on 4 th December, 2025.
The session was informative and it helped not only to reinforce existing skills and knowledge but also created awareness regarding new regulations and safety practises.

The team visited the school to conduct a survey on students aspiring for higher education abroad—especially in Japan. They delivered a concise presentation on admission procedures, opportunities for international students, and also shared information about JASSO scholarships. The session briefly covered prospects in other global universities as well.
A constructive discussion was held with the Director- Royal Global School focusing on future strategies, collaboration, and enhancing pathways for our students.
This visit strengthened our commitment to providing international exposure and guidance to our learners.
On 3rd December, 2025, two students of Grade 11 Humanities, Bhargavi Devi and Grace Kharbuli, along with the Club In-Charge, Ms Pooja Bhattacharjee proudly represented the Sanskriti – History and Heritage Club at a lecture hosted by RSHSS, The Assam Royal Global University, . The session, delivered by Dr. Ritu Gairola Khanduri, Associate Professor of Cultural Anthropology (University of Texas at Arlington), focused on “Cartoons as Cultural Knowledge: Gandhi, Visual Politics and the Making of Modern India.”
The students gained a rich and insightful understanding of how political cartoons serve not only as historical sources but also as powerful tools shaping public opinion and social narratives. The seminar deepened their perspective on visual politics, encouraged critical thinking, and enriched their appreciation for interdisciplinary learning. An inspiring and academically rewarding experience indeed!
An interactive awareness session for Grade X was conducted where Director Sir addressed students on the importance of choosing the right stream and subjects to align with their passion and future profession. He guided students to reflect on their strengths, interests, and long-term goals before making academic choices. Director Sir also shared effective preparation strategies to ensure a stress-free examination experience, emphasizing consistent study habits, time management, and maintaining a positive mindset. The session was insightful and highly motivating for all participants.
It was a day like any other, yet it held a significance unlike any other, it was the last day of school for the Grade XII students.The students spent their time today in the Bageecha clicking photos with friends ,playing games and creating memories .
Emotions ran high when the Director, Dr A K Mukhopadhyay became nostalgic and said that he would heavily miss the visits which he made to their classrooms on arrival at school everyday.The classrooms once bustling with activities would now stand still, the desks once occupied with eager learner’s would now lay empty , he expressed his sadness but reminded them of the endless opportunities that lies ahead.His message emphasised the importance of perseverance, self belief ,hard work and continuous learning .He also encouraged them to accept challenges in life with a positive mindset.
The final bell rang ,signalling the end of the day and there were hugs and tears all around . As they walked out of the school gates there was sadness but there was hope that awaited them beyond the gates.
Julie Martin, Attaché de Coopération pour le Français, Embassy of France, visited Royal Global School today.
She, along with her team, had an engaging and fruitful interaction with our Director, Dr. Arup Mukhopadhyay, and Vice Principal, Mrs. Binita Jain. The discussion focused on organising an exchange programme between schools in France and Royal Global School.
RGS has also been recommended as a potential DELF examination centre in Guwahati. Both parties discussed the signing of an MoU, prioritising cultural collaboration and the possibility of recognising RGS as a “French in School” institution.
Madame Julie later interacted with our French-language learners and visited the French Language Department accompanied by the Director and Vice Principal.
