Royal Global School hosted a Two day Mock Round Square Meet on 28th and 30th June 2025, celebrating environmentalism through a range of engaging activities. The eventopened with an inspiring address by the Director, emphasizing sustainability and studentleadership. Highlights included icebreakers, four impactful Barraza sessions on biodiversity, amock debate, and an Ecobrick-making workshop. Students also participated in compostingand dog shelter-making, showcasing compassion and eco-consciousness. A bake-and-salecounter raised funds for a cause. The conference concluded with heartfelt reflections, leavingparticipants motivated to contribute meaningfully to a sustainable future.

The two-day Bharatiya Bhasha Summer Camp at Royal Global School commenced with a soulful Saraswati Vandana and an inspiring address by the Director, Dr. Arup K. Mukhopadhyay. Students enthusiastically participated in activities such as Nukkar Natak, poem recitation, T-shirt painting, and engaging language sessions in Assamese, Hindi, Bhojpuri, Punjabi, and more. Sanskrit shloka recitation, along with a vibrant French song and game session, added a unique cultural and global dimension.

The camp offered students a joyful platform to explore languages, express creativity, and celebrate India’s rich multilingual and multicultural heritage.

We successfully conducted our Parent-Teacher Meeting for Neev and Primary School students on 28th June 2025. On June 26, 2025, Royal Global School hosted a special awareness session on the topic “Sugar Consumption and Health.” The session aimed to raise awareness among students about the adverse effects of excessive sugar intake and to promote a healthy lifestyle.

This informative session was conducted by renowned nutritionist Dr. Pooja Jaiswal.

Narcotics Awareness Program at Royal Global School on

To mark the International Day Against Drug Abuse, Royal Global School conducted a Narcotics Awareness Program aimed at educating students about the dangers of drug abuse and the importance of making healthy, informed life choices.

Shri Pauzakham Ngaihte, Additional Director, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (Guwahati), delivered a powerful session on “Breaking the Chains: Prevention, Treatment, and Recovery for All.”

He spoke about the global impact of illicit drug trafficking, the functioning of organized drug networks in the eastern Indian Ocean, and the importance of the NDPS Act, 1985, in India’s fight against narcotics.

The session empowered students to stay aware, act responsibly, and stand united in building a drug-free society.

The Royal Debating Society (Vox Populi) hosted an Inter-House Debate Competition for students of Grades 9 and 11 on 21st June. The motion for the debate was: “This House believes that one nation, one examination, one election is antithetical to the spirit of India”. It was an Oxford style of debate where each house was represented by a team of 2 debaters, one arguing for the motion and the other arguing against the motion. The Proposition emphasized the problems associated with this concept and how it is against the concept of federalism, while the opposition provided counterarguments highlighting the benefits of uniformity and efficiency that such a policy could bring.Team Awards:- Winning team- Vivekananda House Runner up team- Gandhi House Individual Awards:Best Speaker: Diya Sarawgi Most Promising Speaker: Navya Tripathi Congratulations to all the speakers for their impressive performances!

The 11th International Day of Yoga was celebrated at Royal Global School with great enthusiasm. Students from Grades EY-1 to V observed the occasion on 20th June 2025, while Grades VI to XII participated on 21st June in the school campus.Chairman Dr. A.K. Pansari and Director Dr. Arup Mukhopadhyay joined the students in the Yoga session, alongside teachers and administrative staff. The session was led by Yoga Instructor Mr. Jayesh Gosai, who emphasized the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of regular Yoga practice. The event reinforced the importance of a healthy and balanced lifestyle through the consistent practice of Yoga.

Royal Global School solemnly observed Rabha Divas on 20th June, marking the death anniversary of Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha, the legendary artist and cultural icon of Assam. The event served as a tribute to his immense contribution to Assamese art, literature, and culture.

The ceremony began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Ms. Caroline, the Head of Primary. In her address, she encouraged the students to actively participate in cultural programs and draw inspiration from stalwarts like Bishnu Rabha.

The anchor of the event eloquently spoke about the multifaceted talent and enduring legacy of Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha. To further honor his memory, two students performed a soulful rendition of Rabha Sangeet, captivating the audience with their melodious tribute.

Sattyakee D'com Bhuyan, Mentor, gave a brief yet insightful talk on the life and contributions of Bishnu Rabha, highlighting his role as a freedom fighter, poet, musician, and social reformer.

The program concluded with the rendition of Assam’s State Anthem, leaving the gathering in a spirit of pride and reverence.

The celebration not only paid homage to a great personality but also instilled a sense of cultural pride among the students.

With an air of pride and promise, the Investiture Ceremony of the Junior Student Council for the academic session 2025–26 was held on 19th June 2025. This momentous occasion marked the formal appointment of young leaders entrusted with the responsibility to lead with dedication and uphold the school’s values.The ceremony commenced with the state anthem, followed by the oath-taking, administered by Director Sir, where council members pledged to serve with honesty and discipline. The event was graced by the presence of Chief Guest Prof. (Dr.) Shiela Bora, Executive Director Ms. Shikha Pansari, and the Head of Primary.The Junior Prefect Council comprises Astik Sharma (Head Boy), Barlin Naaz Ahmed (Head Girl), Vidharth Lunawat (Sports Captain), Aishani Newar (Discipline Captain), Avyukt Sood (CCA Captain), and house captains Sofika Bari (Gandhi House), Vaasavi Agarwal (Mother Teresa House), Dishanjit Goswami (Tagore House), and Samar Siotia (Vivekananda House). The newly appointed prefects, dressed in crisp uniforms and shining badges, stood tall, ready to take on their new roles.Prof. (Dr.) Shiela Bora's inspiring address encouraged the young leaders to serve with courage, compassion, and integrity. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks and the national anthem, leaving the audience inspired and hopeful for a future shaped by responsible leadership.

The Investiture Ceremony of the High School Prefect Council of Royal Global School was held on 18th June 2025 at the D’Royal Auditorio. The event was graced by Professor Surajit C. Mukhopadhyay and Chairman Dr. A.K. Pansari.

The ceremony commenced with a march past by the newly elected Prefect Council members, followed by the presentation of sashes and badges to the cabinet. Dr. Arup Mukhopadhyay, Director, administered the oath to the newly inducted leaders.

The Head girl and the Head boy addressed the gathering, emphasizing the values of leadership, responsibility, and integrity. The prestigious Chairman’s Medal was awarded to the board examination toppers.

The ceremony concluded with expressions of heartfelt gratitude, marking a purposeful and inspiring start to the new academic year.

Our Early Years young learners stole the show on Father's Day! They sang heartwarming songs for their daddies, showcasing their talents.

The highlight of the event was the father-child duo games, where they bonded over fun activities, creating unforgettable memories. A joyful celebration filled with love, laughter, and togetherness!

Royal Global School, Guwahati, in collaboration with CBSE, hosted an insightful session for Principals & Counselors on June 12, 2025. Key speakers included Ms. Niti Sharma, Deputy Secretary, In-charge – Media, PR & Counseling (CBSE HQ), Ms. Meenu Arora, and Ms. Ojaswi Sharma from Medhavi, who shared valuable insights on CUET 2025, academic pathways, and the distinct roles of educators. A meaningful step toward future-ready student guidance.

Our Grade I students had a delightful and enriching visit to the General Post Office, Meghdoot Bhawan, at Pan Bazar. As part of the "Letters of Love" initiative, they wrote heartfelt messages and sent them as telegrams. Personally handing over their telegrams to the postal staff, the young learners got a first-hand look at how the postal system works.

They observed the processing of telegrams and gained a deeper appreciation for the importance of postal services in staying connected. This engaging, real-world activity not only enhanced their communication skills but also nurtured a sense of affection and gratitude towards family.

The joy and pride on their faces as they mailed their messages made the experience truly unforgettable.

"Our young learners had the opportunity to attend an engaging and insightful session by Dr. Pooja Jaiswal on the importance of nutrition and maintaining a well-balanced diet. Dr. Jaiswal highlighted how healthy eating habits play a crucial role in fuelling both body and mind for optimal growth and development. Through interactive discussions, the session empowered students with the knowledge to make informed food choices and inspired them to adopt healthy habits from an early age."

To mark World Environment Day, our students actively engaged in a range of eco-friendly activities. They created thoughtful and vibrant posters highlighting environmental issues and solutions, participated in meaningful group discussions on sustainability, and crafted reusable paper bags to promote alternatives to plastic. These hands-on experiences helped reinforce the importance of caring for our planet through creativity, collaboration, and conscious choices.

The UTSARGA – Social Outreach Club of Royal Global School recently visited Nortap L.P. School, Sonapur, to mark Menstrual Hygiene Day. A group of 21 students, led by Club Coordinator Mahua Guha Kanungoe and Geetanjali Goswami, conducted an interactive session to educate girls on menstrual hygiene and break the stigma surrounding menstruation.

The session aimed to foster open dialogue and empower young women with knowledge to manage their periods safely and confidently. In alignment with global efforts for a period-friendly world, the initiative emphasized health, dignity, and equal opportunity.

To spread joy, the club also distributed chocolates, biscuits, fruit drinks, and stationery to the students. The event concluded with spirited musical performances by the Nortap students, showcasing teamwork and creativity.
