Royal Global School, Celebrated the 77th Republic Day
Royal Global School, Guwahati celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great pride in the presence of the management, parents, faculty members, and students. The programme began with the felicitation of the Chief Guest, followed by plantation of saplings and the unfurling of the National Flag. A disciplined March Past by the school contingent and security guards, accompanied by the school band playing “Sare Jahan Se Achha”, added patriotic fervour to the occasion.
Addressing the august gathering, Director Dr Arup Kumar Mukhopadhyay highlighted the significance of celebrating 150 years of “Vande Mataram”, the theme of this year’s Republic Day, and reiterated the values of equality and dignity enshrined in the Constitution.
The Chief Guest, Shri Kamal Kumar Jain, paid tribute to the freedom fighters and reminded everyone that the Constitution teaches us our duties along with our rights.
The cultural programme, comprising a song, dance, and skit, beautifully reflected the theme. The celebration concluded with a Vote of Thanks.
