The Spirit of DEAR

Reading is not a duty, and has consequently no business to be made disagreeable– Jorge Luis Borges
Amidst the vibrant hustle and preparations of the Founders’ Day celebrations, the spirit of DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) remained undisturbed today. True to the ritual, the entire school community students, teachers, and administrative staff paused together to observe the silent reading session with enthusiasm and intent. For those moments, the campus found its calm, as books took centre stage and every reader immersed themselves in quiet reflection. This graceful balance between celebration and stillness beautifully reaffirmed the school’s commitment to nurturing a strong and enduring reading culture, even during the busiest of days.
