79th Independence Day
Royal Global School celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm. Despite an overcast sky, the Tricolour soared high to the sound of a soulful flute rendition. Chairman Dr A.K. Pansari and Vice-Chairman A.K. Modi hoisted the national flag. Director Dr. Arup Mukhopadhyay addressed the gathering, reflecting on India’s journey since independence, its colonial legacy, and the need to focus beyond GDP and geopolitics towards human rights and inclusivity. Patriotic performances by students, including “Ma Tujhe Salaam,” a keyboard rendition of “Sare Jahan Se Acha” by Samaya Pansari, vibrant dances, and the skit “Flames of Freedom,” captivated the audience. The event concluded with light refreshments.
