Tribute to Zubeen Garg at RGS Assembly
Today’s morning assembly at Royal Global School was dedicated to the legendary artist Zubeen Garg, whose music continues to resonate in every Assamese heart. The event began with a floral tribute to the Heartthrob of Assam, followed by a soulful rendition of his famous composition “Mayabini” by the teachers and students.
The Performing Arts Department, along with students, presented heartfelt performances that reflected the great musician’s values, simplicity, and deep cultural pride. Dr. Arup Mukhopadhyay, Director, RGS, spoke about Mr. Garg’s remarkable journey and artistic achievements, while Mr. Sattyakee D’Com shared personal memories highlighting his humility, warmth, and lifelong devotion to art and humanity.
