Junior School's Reading Week celebration

The Junior School’s Reading Week celebration, held from April 21st to 25th, was a resounding success. A special assembly on World Book Day was organized on April 23rd, where the entire school gathered for a Reading Pledge, an introduction to diverse book genres, and lively activities such as ‘Meet My Favourite Character,’ a skit on ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’, and a cheerful reading rhyme.
Throughout the week, students engaged in various activities to foster a love for reading. These included “Spin a Story,” where they crafted imaginative tales using prompts, “Book Tasting sessions,” which introduced them to diverse genres and authors, a lively quiz session that assessed their literary knowledge, and an exciting “Story Relay Puzzle” that encouraged teamwork to complete a story.
This celebration broadened the horizons of our young readers, inspiring them to embrace books as lifelong companions.
