RGS Delegates at Eleutheria Conference
A group of ten students from RGS, accompanied by Ms. Bhumika Nath and Ms. Seema Barooah, participated in the Round Square Conference titled “Eleutheria: Liberate the Inner Adventurer” at Sarala Birla Academy, Bangalore. The four-day event, focused on the theme of “Adventure,” began with a dynamic ice-breaker session designed to build connections among the delegates.
On the second day, students explored the campus, attended the opening ceremony, and took part in the inaugural Adventure Workshop, where they learned wilderness survival skills. This was followed by the first baraza session and a vibrant musical night featuring Garba dance. RGS student Krishna Narayan received enthusiastic applause for her captivating solo Odissi dance performance.
Day three started with an early morning trek, followed by a full-day outbound program at Area 83, which challenged students’ adventurous spirit. The day ended with a formal Principal’s Dinner. The final day opened with a spiritual yoga session, followed by “Adventure with Music” activities, tie-dye and pebble art workshops, and the second baraza session.
The conference concluded with a Cultural Night and Closing Ceremony, where RGS students mesmerized the audience with a dance performance paying homage to Assam’s diverse tribes. Over the four days, participants embraced a rich blend of adventure, cultural exchange, and personal growth, making it a deeply enriching experience for the RGS delegates.
