Grade IV Brings Kati Bihu to Life

The essence of a culture is often best reflected in its festivals. This was evident during the mesmerizing performance by the Grade IV students, who led the morning assembly on the theme “Kati Bihu and its Significance.”
The assembly began with a prayer, followed by an inspiring thought, a positive word, the idiom of the day, and the chanting of slokas. The audience in the hall was captivated as the students showcased their talents through dance and eloquent speeches. They also lit lamps around the tulsi plant, seeking blessings from Goddess Laxmi. One of the most remarkable moments was the lighting of the Akash Banti (sky candle), a symbol of the festival.
The Principal Dr. Dillip Kumar Panda, addressed the gathering, encouraging the students to learn about the origins of each festival and to stay connected to their cultural roots. The event concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
