Barlin Naaz Ahmed Shines as Tennis Runners-Up

Vihaan Upadhyay, a student of Grade X, Royal Global School was selected to participate in the prestigious national programme “Pariksha Pe Charcha”, an interactive session with the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi.

Royal Global School proudly congratulates Viraj Sarawgi of Grade 6D for his outstanding performance at a prestigious FIDE-rated chess tournament in Porto Sant’Elpidio, Italy.
Viraj secured 1st place in the Under-1600 rated category, a remarkable accomplishment against strong international competition. His standout performance included an impressive victory over a 2047-rated player, reflecting his skill, focus, and determination.

Pride of RGS: Vivan Pansari Excels in National Tennis Championship
Vivan Pansari of Grade VII secured the Runner-Up position in the Under-14 Boys category at the 28th India Club Open Tennis Championship, held from 19th to 25th January 2026.
The tournament was organized by India Club, Guwahati, under the aegis of the All Assam Tennis Association.

Rising Stars: Vivan Pansari and Barlin Naaz Ahmed Crowned Champions
We are proud to announce that Vivan Pansari (Grade VII) emerged as the Boys Under-12 Champion, and Barlin Naaz Ahmed (Grade V) clinched the title of Girls Under-10 Champion at the recently concluded All Assam Tennis Junior Ranking Championship held at The Tennis Club, Silchar.

National Glory: Sia Sonthalia & Mishka Singhal Shine at Junior Roll Ball Championship
Our school proudly applauds the outstanding achievement of Sia Sonthalia (Grade 9B) and Mishka Singhal (Grade 10), who represented the Assam Team at the 17th Junior Roll Ball National Championship, held in Jammu from 29 December 2025 to 1 January 2026. Competing against 17 teams from across India, the Assam Team emerged as the Champion of the tournament.
Adding to the glory, Sia Sonthalia was awarded the BEST PLAYER of the Tournament in the Girls’ Category and received a cash prize of ₹5,000 from the Ministry of Sports, Department of Jammu & Kashmir.
