Royal Global School Shines at SGFI State Chess Championship 2024
Royal Global School proudly announces its success at the SGFI State Chess Championship 2024!
Our talented young chess players:
Vivaan Ariz Thakuria (Under 14 Boys), Ritisha Mayra Rajbongshi (Under 14 Girls), along with Devishi Das, Sia Sonthalia, and Kreesha Jain (Under 19 Girls) have qualified for the SGFI National Chess Championship 2024! The upcoming championship will take place in Bhopal and Kolkata from November 16th to 21st, 2024.
Royal Global School Shines at CBSE Far East Zone Archery Championship 2024
Royal Global School students participated in the CBSE Far East Zone Archery Competition 2024, held from 20th to 22nd September 2024 in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh.
Aahan P Konwar competed in the Under-14 Boys category.
Jimena Lalhruaitluangi and Melvina Oinam participated in the Under-17 Girls category.
Khusboo Firdoushi represented the school in the Under-19 Girls category.
The Under-19 Girls category team brought home medals:
Miss Khusboo Firdoushi
50m Distance: 2nd place
30m Distance: 3rd place
Overall: 3rd place
Khusboo Firdoushi has also qualified for the Nationals, which will be held in Delhi in October.

RGS Shines at CBSE Taekwondo Championship with Gold & Bronze Victory
RGS participated in the CBSE Far East Zone Taekwondo Championship, where Sachit Dey of Class 11 secured a gold medal in the Under-19, 45 kg category. Additionally, Jagrav Das of Class 12 won a bronze medal in the Under-19, 70 kg category. Sachit Dey has also been selected to compete in the CBSE Nationals, scheduled for October.
