With curiosity and respect in their hearts, the students of Grade 3 embarked on an educational trip on 24th January 2026 to Shahid Smarak Kshetra, Boragaon. The visit offered them a meaningful opportunity to learn about the bravery and supreme sacrifices made during the Assam Agitation Movement.

Out of the 860 martyrs commemorated, the children were deeply engaged and amazed to witness 540 busts displayed in the gallery. They also paid homage at the Swahid Pranam Jyoti and explored the library-cum-archive, which provided valuable insights into Assam’s history and heritage.

The experience left a lasting impression on the young minds, inspiring respect, gratitude, and patriotism.
