Exploring the Scope of Psychology
On Tuesday, August 26th, 2025, Grade X and Psychology students from Grades XI and XII gathered at the Broadway venue for Psychology Confluence, an academic session themed “Psychology – Its Scope and Prospects.” Dr. Prince C. P., Associate Professor at The Assam Royal Global University, led the session, with the school director and head of the psychology department in attendance.
Dr. Prince delivered an engaging presentation tracing psychology’s journey from Western origins to its development in India, contrasting cultural approaches and highlighting the field’s vast career potential. His use of personal stories made complex theories relatable and insightful.
Two interactive activities stood out: an art therapy session where students illustrated their fears, and a mindfulness exercise involving a raisin to emphasize sensory awareness.
The session was both informative and inspiring, deepening students’ interest in psychology as an academic and professional field.
