Magh Bihu
Magh Bihu, the harvest festival of Assam, was celebrated with enthusiasm at Royal Global School on January 10, 2025. The event featured a ‘Bhela Ghor’ and a ‘Meji,’ and vibrant performances like an Assamese poem recitation, a skit, and a dance by grades V and VI students.
Principal Dr. Dillip Kumar Panda and Director Dr. Arup Mukhopadhyay greeted everyone in Assamese. The celebration ended with the burning of the ‘Meji’ and enjoying traditional treats like ‘Laru’ and ‘Pitha,’ while pre-primary students observed their preparation, connecting with Assamese culture.
