“Homekeeping youths have ever homely wits”. RGS, therefore provides opportunities for the students to see the unseen, explore the unexplored, and unveil the mystery. Keeping this in view, the Political Science department organized an educational trip to Delhi on 22nd December 2023. Visit to Delhi offered a rich educational experience to the students by exposing them to different cultures, histories, and political perspectives. The majestic Red Fort’s light and music show provided them with a tangible connection to the country’s past. Visiting the National Museum offered them insights into India’s diverse history and heritage. The most enriching experience the students gained was from the visit to the Prime Minister’s Sangrahalaya which provided them an idiosyncratic insight into India’s political history and governance. Students could access a wealth of information including original documents, audio recordings, and visual materials, fostering a more immersive and comprehensive understanding of the constitutional-making process. These have provided students with a more vivid and participatory educational experience in studying political science and constitutional history. Visiting the Akshardham Temple, Lotus Temple, and Bangla Saheb Gurudwara enriched students' education by offering a holistic experience that encompasses culture, spirituality, architecture, and historical context.
