Rebuttals were made compulsory for the first time, and both teams rose to the occasion, responding confidently and effectively to their opponents’ arguments. After a stimulating and thought-provoking exchange of ideas, Grade V emerged as the winning team, and the motion was lost. The debate was efficiently chaired by Mishka Hazarika of Grade IV.
