Another ANTARPRERNA session featured Shri Bimal Oswal, CEO of Rhino Research Products, Dhubri. Shri Oswal shared his entrepreneurial journey with the students. He explained how important it is to be an entrepreneur and how the Nation would benefit. He also spoke on Business ethics. He also answered the questions raised by the students. It was an excellent interactive session.
10 students of Royal Global School were privileged to be a part of the inauguration of the 18th Vande Bharat train going from Guwahati to new Jalpaiguri. Refreshments, snack boxes and a delightful lunch was served. Students and accompanying teachers were asked about their experience in the luxurious train and about the Vande Bharat concept by the media. Honourable CM, Himanta Biswa Sarma, Railway Minister and few other Central Ministers were at the dais while the train was inaugurated online by the Honourable PM, Shri Narendra Modi. Some dignitaries interacted with students as well. It was a festive feel and the train journey was great.
Royal Global School always strives to emerge out with something new and special for its students every year. It leaves no stone unturned to provide an opportunity to the children to exbibit their talent and confidence. On 29th May 2023, Inter-Section ,’English Poem Recitation’ , and ‘Come As You Like’ Competitions were organized on the theme ‘Gratitude’. Children came up with beautiful poems and astonished everyone with their voice modulation and amazing memory skills. ‘Come As You Like’, was not just fun but also a learning experience for the children. The children displayed excellent skills; wearing a colorful costume, representing their favorite character, going on stage and speaking confidently left the audience in awe.
On 26th May, 2023 our school kids embarked on an incredible journey of discovery and innovation at the Assam Science Technology and Environment Council Meet! Students from various districts across Assam collaborated together to build and showcase brilliant science prototypes and, also took part in an open-for-all manual robotics competition. Science Prototypes Galore: The event showcased the incredible talent of young minds as they presented their science prototypes with utmost enthusiasm. From eco-friendly energy solutions to sustainable agriculture practices, these young innovators left us in awe with their groundbreaking ideas! It's truly remarkable to witness the next generation of scientists and inventors shaping the future! Manual Robotics Extravaganza: The open-for-all manual robotics competition was nothing short of thrilling! Students put their engineering skills to the test as they designed and built robots. It was a day filled with awe-inspiring moments and boundless creativity!
As a part of experiential learning, History and French Department organised a Panel Discussion on "The Impact of French Revolution - Nationality and Global Change" on 25th May,2023. The panelists of the day- Dr. Randhir Gogoi ( Assistant Professor Royal Global University), Mr. Mukesh Kalita ( Assistant Professor Royal Global University) as well as Binita Jain (Vice Principal Royal Global School) justified each and every topic asked by the moderator Pooja Bhattacharjee ( PGT History, Royal Global School). After an hour long discussion the session was made open for the students where new ideas emerged. It was a great learning experience for all present there. After the enlightening session a French Song was presented by Chiara and Shaun of class 10. The program came to an end with a vote of thanks given by Mr. Gautam Sekhu ( PGT History- Royal Global School).
The Department of History at Royal Global School has organized an exhibition titled "The Indus Age: Bricks, Beads, and Greens" on May 22nd, 2023. The students have created models of Harappan artifacts, including pottery, utensils, animal motifs, seals, ornaments, and toys. They provided detailed explanations of each artifact to the exhibition visitors. It was a wonderful learning experience for both the students and the spectators.
Royal Global School is proud to announce the outstanding achievement of its Grade 10 student, Bhavya Tusnial, who has secured the top position in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examinations with a percentage of 99.4. In recognition of her exceptional academic performance, Royal Global School has felicitated her with a cash prize of ₹1 Lakh and awarded her a full scholarship for further studies. She has secured cent percent marks in 3 subjects namely Science, Computer Applications and French. Apart from this, students of grade 10th and 12th who scored 100 out of 100 marks in various subjects were also felicitated by the school and given certificates and cash prizes. The consistent hard work of our students, coupled with the guidance and support provided by the highly qualified faculty members, has enabled them to achieve this remarkable feat. All the subject teachers were felicitated by the school management and their hard work was recognized and the subjects in which the students secured 100% marks were honoured with cash prizes and certificates. Two students of Class 12 have brought laurels to the school by securing seats in reputed educational institutions abroad. Mahi Bhartia has received a scholarship at the Persons School of Design, New York and Adi Bhartia has secured a place at the University of California, Berkeley. Importantly, Aadi Bhartia had received offers from 5 more foreign universities. Royal Global School congratulates all these meritorious students and wishes them a bright future.

This enlightening session aimed at sensitizing our students from grades 1 to 6 about the crucial topics of good touch and bad touch, along with essential safety measures. Through interactive activities, engaging discussions, and expert guidance, our children learned invaluable skills to protect themselves and understand their boundaries. We are incredibly proud of our students for actively participating and showing their eagerness to learn. Their safety is our top priority, and initiatives like these empower them to stay safe in today's world. Virasat Volumes presents itself as an avenue where young minds quench their curiosity through discussions on history and culture with emphasis on the North East. Royal Global School, Guwahati, received the terrific opportunity of hosting yet another session of these vibrant interactive lecture series. The school extended a warm welcome to the Guest Speaker, Dr Mitali Kalita, an erudite scholar. Dr Kalita is an assistant professor in the Department of History, Royal School of Humanities and Social Sciences, The Assam Royal Global University, Guwahati, Assam. The discussion shed light on the Revolt of 1857 and the Uprising in the East. It proved to be very fruitful and tremendously informative for the students pursuing History as a subject, from classes 8 to 12. Following an engrossing presentation, the inquisitive learners of RGS broke the solemn silence with a flood of questions regarding the momentous epoch of contemporary Indian History. Upon satiating the students’ diligently articulated queries, the session culminated with the respected Vice Principal of Royal Global School, Ms Binita Jain, felicitating the esteemed guest with a traditional Assamese “Gamosa”.
Of all the special joys in life, the big ones and the small, a mother’s love and tenderness is the greatest of them all. RGS always strives to emerge out with something new and special for its students and with a vision to celebrate motherhood and offer gratitude to all the mothers for their unconditional love. This year too, Mother’s Day was celebrated on 12th May with great enthusiasm by the Primary Wing of the school. The shows that stole everyone’s heart away were a musical quiz, a group dance on the song ,' Aisa Kyun Maa' and group songs,' Maa mai teri kashti me sawaar,' and Tera Mujhse hai pehle ka nata koi,'performed by the mothers and children collaboratively. A round of mesmerising recitation of a few beautiful poems by the children in all the three languages- English, Hindi and Assamese thrilled the audiences like never before. The event was a huge success which saw the attendance of a huge crowd.
Like each time, JCI Guwahati Princesses, had left everyone amazed by organising a chess event for a noble cause. The event was organised with the concept of helping poor and needy children to buy school uniforms. The fund gathered was entirely used for the purpose with the participants taking active part in the cause. Girish Todi secured second Position in the Under 12 Boys. 6.Devishi Das secured second position in the Under 12 Girls 7. Utkarsh Bhimsariah secured Best Youngest Player of the Tournament.
Rabindranath Tagore Jayanti is a cultural celebration to mark the birth anniversary of the luminary Nobel Peace Prize laureate Rabindranath Tagore which falls on the 25th day of the Bengali month of Boishakh. A memorable function was organized at Royal Global School in the Colosseum hall with solemnity on 9th May, 2023. The programme was inaugurated with the garlanding of the statue of Tagore by the Vice Principal of the school. Then all the students and the teachers paid their homage to Tagore by offering floral tributes. A special assembly was organized to mark the occasion where singing ‘Rabindra sangeet, reciting his life and work, dance performance , recitation and some beautiful thoughts written by Tagore was shared. It was accompanied by a beautiful violin recital on the famous song ‘Akela Chalo Re’ written by RabindranathTagore. The programme ended with the valuable words shared by Vice Principal ma'am ,which was followed by the National Anthem which is another composition of the Noble Laureate.

On 09.05.2023, Royal Global School organised a Story Telling session by Vikram Sridhar to motivate and encourage the students to read. The session started with the storyteller engaging the entire lot of students with his unique blend of fun and laughter, his innovative voice and his humorous actions. The students listened enraptured and enthralled. The storyteller ensured that the students were never bored,as he made the session interactive and the students were made an integral part of his session. The enthusiastic students clapped, sang,mimicked, participated and enacted as the session progressed. The students were enlightened with his witty words ; that there is a story behind a story. An enriching session which the students thoroughly enjoyed and went back home with a lot of fond memories to cherish.
Dameshai Umdor and Dev Goyal have been awarded FIDE Rating of 1120 (Classical) and 1218 (Classical) respectively by the International Chess Federation (FIDE) in its latest rating list released on 1st May 2023. Dameshai Umdor and Dev Goyal have been awarded the FIDE Rating based on their performance in 1st Meghalaya Invitation Fide Rating Chess Tournament 2023 held at Shillong in the month of April 2023.

Royal Global School celebrated it's dutiful and faithful workers on the occasion of May Day; the wheels of our system without whom it's difficult to function even for a single day!
The program started by paying tribute to our Mother land, Assam by singing the State Anthem. The anchor praised the hard work that the workers do for the institute relentlessly day in and day out. The distinguished guests lighted the Lamp whose light illuminates everyone in the vicinity, with a melodious flute rendition playing in the background. The much awaited cultural program began. The singers enthralled the august gathering with their melodious songs. The Kongs who were compared to colourful butterflies sang a foot tapping Khasi number.The graceful dancers captivated one and all with their mesmerizing dance moves. How can a program in Spring be complete in Assam without Bihu ? And what a fascinating Bihu dance by our gifted baideos. The Pro Vice Chancellor of Royal Global University Dr. Rohit Singh in his speech said that, in sync with the vision of the Chairman Dr. AK Pansari the workers of RGS and RGU are our colleagues and should be treated that way. The dynamic Principal of RGS held every one spellbound by singing the all popular song of Dr. Bhupen Hazarika, manuhe, manuhor babae with a contemporary touch while the artist of RGS Lakshyajit brought the song alive in his canvas and the dance teachers Priyanka and Anjali enacted the song. A unique blend of song, art and dance. As a befitting tribute to the work done by the workers, they were given access to a free health checkup which was followed by lunch.
