RGS Shines at AFS India Regional Meet 2025
From August 22–24, 2025, two Grade 11 students, Vridhi Harlalka and Saumyaa Sikaria, along with AFS Coordinator Dr. Karabi Das, represented Royal Global School at the AFS India Regional Meet (East Zone) hosted by Sai International Residential School, Cuttack, and Sai International School, Bhubaneswar.
The program began with a visit to the Dhauli Shanti Stupa, linking the conference theme “Global Goals: Local Actions” with India’s heritage of peace and harmony. The following days featured inspiring sessions by eminent speakers including Shri Prithviraj Harichandan, Dr. Swati Mishra, and Dr. Kaibalya Kumar Sethi, who highlighted youth leadership, intercultural exchange, climate action, and peacebuilding.
Workshops, cultural performances, and interactive sessions fostered collaboration and celebration of diversity. A visit to Munda Sahi village for a street play on hygiene reinforced the power of local action for global impact.
The meet concluded with a valedictory session, felicitations, and heartfelt reflections. The enriching experience offered students learning, cultural exchange, and community engagement, leaving them motivated to embrace their roles as responsible global citizens.
