Royal Debating Society Crowns Grade VI
The Royal Debating Society (Vox Populi) recently hosted Battle of Words, the first inter-class debate featuring students from Grade VI and Grade VII. The motion for debate was: “This House believes that the environment should be prioritized over economic growth.”
Grade VI proposed the motion, while Grade VII opposed it. Both sides presented compelling arguments, showcasing their research, reasoning, and rhetorical skills. Ultimately, the debate was won by the Proposition team (Grade VI).
The individual awards were as follows:
Best Speaker: Novyana B. Bordoloi (Grade VI)
Most Promising Speaker: Samaira Jain (Grade VI)
Budding Speaker: Vriddhi Chamaria (Grade VI)
