Students of RGS, Class 11 and 12 Commerce Department, went on an educational visit to Amchong Tea Estate,on 20th May,2026

The visit aimed to link Business Studies, Accountancy, Economics, and Entrepreneurship with real industry practices. Children witnessed tea processing in the tea factory from withering to packaging and experienced tea production by observing machines and quality checks.

Students learned key Economics concepts like factors of production, demand-supply, and the industry’s role in employment. From an Entrepreneurship angle, they understood value addition, branding, risk management, and scaling opportunities in agribusiness.

The visit proved highly educational, bridging textbook knowledge with practical application and inspiring interest in business and startups.
