RGS came alive with a vibrant storytelling session that sparked curiosity, joy, and creativity. Children and parents participated wholeheartedly, turning the event into a celebration of language, imagination, and togetherness. A special thanks to facilitator Ms. Nupur Aggarwal, whose expressive narration brought each tale to life. The day was filled with bonding, learning, and the timeless magic of stories.
The untimely demise of Zubeen Garg has plunged the entire state into profound shock and grief. At Royal Global School, a humble prayer meet was held to honour and condole the loss of the legendary singer. Amidst floral tributes, glowing candles, and tear-filled eyes, one of Zubeen da’s unforgettable songs resonated through the corridors, reminding everyone of the irreplaceable void he leaves behind. May his voice continue to echo in our hearts forever.
On September 19, 2025, our Grades I to III students had a fantastic session on dental hygiene with renowned orthodontist Dr. Rohit Jain.
Dr. Jain educated the students on proper dental care practices and common oral hygiene problems. The interactive session featured an engaging video titled 'Mr. Tooth' and a display on tooth anatomy, helping the students better understand their teeth. The event concluded with a fun quiz and an informative Q&A session where Dr. Jain answered questions from the students.
This was a wonderful learning experience that contributed to our students' holistic development.
The Round Square Conference EKTA, hosted by Dhirubhai Ambani School, Mumbai at Reliance Green Township, Jamnagar, Gujarat, was held from 10th to 13th September 2025 with around 174 students and 30 teachers from India and abroad. From Royal Global School, delegates Rupal Jain, Amyra Chhajer, Aanya Goel, Vatsal Goenka, and Ayaan Khemka (all Grade VIII) were accompanied by Senior Faculty Member Ms. Seema Barooah.
The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Vibha Bakshi, National Award–winning filmmaker of “Daughters of Mother India and Son Rise”. In the Barraza Sessions, delegates reflected on the themes of resolving conflict, embracing empathy, and respecting diverse perspectives. Visits to the Reliance Solar Energy Plant and Bioenergy Centre offered insights into renewable and sustainable energy innovations.
Sustainable Innovation Solutions presentations highlighted issues from tobacco’s harmful effects to environmental sustainability, showcasing how technology guided by empathy can drive change. A lively Garba session added cultural immersion.
A visit to Vantara Animal Welfare Centre deepened understanding of coexistence between humans, animals, and nature, reinforced by an interaction with naturalist Mr. Sandesh Guru. Delegates also planted saplings and explored the forest.
On the final day, a concluding Barraza session, a Reliance Foundation video, and the formal closure marked the end of the conference.
The experience enriched students with knowledge, empathy, and a renewed understanding that true progress lies in harmony with nature and animals.
Royal Global School Pays Tribute to Dr. Bhupen Hazarika on His 99th Birth Anniversary
Royal Global School observed the 99th birth anniversary of Sudhakantha Dr. Bhupen Hazarika with reverence and enthusiasm. Vice Principals Binita Jain and Anita Verma along with the Head of Primary, Caroline Hauzel graced the occasion.
The programme began with a floral tribute at Dr. Hazarika’s statue, followed by an inspiring speech by Shubhangshi Sarma of Grade VII. The Music and Co-Curricular Activity Department presented soulful vocal and instrumental performances in homage to the legendary icon.
Addressing the gathering, Vice Principal Binita ma’am urged students to draw inspiration from Dr. Hazarika’s life and works, and to keep his legacy alive by ensuring his songs and art forms continue to resonate with future generations.
The celebration concluded with a collective rendition of his timeless song “Manuhe Manuhor Babe” and Assam’s State Anthem “O Mor Aponar Desh”, leaving the audience inspired and united in spirit.
