Round Square Conference – EKTA
Hosted by Dhirubhai Ambani School, Mumbai at Reliance Green, Jamnagar (10th – 13th September 2025)
The Round Square Conference EKTA, hosted by Dhirubhai Ambani School, Mumbai, at Reliance Green Township, Jamnagar, brought together around 174 students and 30 teachers from across India and abroad, creating a truly diverse and inclusive platform for learning and collaboration.
From Royal Global School, the delegates were Rupal Jain, Amyra Chhajer, Aanya Goel, Vatsal Goenka, and Ayaan Khemka (all from Grade VIII), accompanied by Ms. Seema Barooah, Senior Faculty Member.
The Opening Ceremony began with a devotional Ganesh Vandana performed in Bharatanatyam and Kathak, followed by the Flag March and a keynote address by Dr. Vibha Bakshi, National Award-winning filmmaker of Daughters of Mother India and Son Rise.
In the Baraza sessions, delegates explored the themes of resolving conflict, embracing empathy, and respecting diverse perspectives—discussions that fostered both understanding and friendship.
Day two featured an educational visit to the Reliance Solar Energy Plant and Reliance Bioenergy Centre, offering insights into renewable energy and sustainability initiatives. The Sustainable Innovation Solutions (SIS) Presentations showcased youth-led ideas addressing issues from tobacco awareness to environmental protection, highlighting how technology guided by empathy can drive positive change.
A lively cultural immersion followed, with delegates joining a Garba dance session and interacting with Kutch artisans who showcased traditional crafts like bandhani textiles and lac bangles.
A highlight of the conference was the visit to the Vantara Animal Welfare Centre, where students learned about compassion, coexistence, and conservation. Observing rescued animals and their rehabilitation deeply moved the delegates, reinforcing the need for empathy in protecting wildlife. A nature walk and sapling plantation with naturalist Mr. Sandesh Guru further strengthened their bond with nature.
A marble plaque in the forest read, “There’s no WiFi in the forest, but we promise you’ll find a better connection.” The delegates truly did.
The conference concluded with a final Baraza session and a video by the Reliance Foundation. The experience left our students inspired—believing that true progress lies in harmony and coexistence with nature.
