A beautiful day filled with delicious homemade food, special brunch, exciting games and cheerful laughter. Watching everyone share, bond, and create such joyful memories together made the day truly special.

The school observed the final DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) Time of the current academic session with a sense of reflection and appreciation. Students and teachers came together to participate wholeheartedly in silent reading, creating a calm and focused atmosphere across the campus. This concluding session highlighted the consistency and enthusiasm with which the DEAR program has been embraced throughout the year. As the session came to a close, the shared reading time stood as a meaningful reminder of the strong reading culture nurtured within the school and encouraged everyone to carry the habit of reading forward beyond the classroom.
Royal Global School Guwahati hosted its Annual Sports Day. A day that saw a lot of energy and emotions running high as the various races like Sprint and Relay Races took place.
The Mass Drill by the students of Grades 3 to 5 and 6 and 7 captivated the audience with synchronised moves, the Yog performance was breathtaking thereby creating an ambience of tranquility,the Gymnastics demonstration was mesmerizing, the Taekwondo show was spell binding and the Horse Show by the jockeys was spectacular.
The Chief Guest in his address informed the gathering about Government policies related to Sports. The Director Dr Arup Kumar Mukhopadhyay asked the students to accept winning with humility and defeat with grace.
There was an enthusiastic participation of parents in races in large numbers. Tagore House leading the score tally was the proud recipient of the Cock House trophy.
The Annual Sports Day 2026 for Early Years 1 to Grade 2 was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 5th February, with active and cheerful participation from the students. The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Sri Anil Kumar Modi, Vice Chairman of Royal Global School, Guwahati, who inaugurated the Sports Meet and released balloons to mark the beginning of the programme.
The day began with a warm and motivating address by Dr. Arup Mukhopadhyay, Director of Royal Global School. This was followed by a pleasant yoga performance by the students. The children then showcased their skills through gymnastics and Taekwondo demonstrations, reflecting their strength, balance, and coordination.
A key attraction of the celebration was the track and field events, which included a variety of fun and competitive races. Special races for parents and grandparents added to the excitement and brought smiles to everyone present.
The programme came to a meaningful close with the Prize Distribution Ceremony, followed by the singing of the National Anthem.
