Royal Global School successfully hosted a vibrant five‑day summer camp from 29 June to 3 July 2026, offering children a joyful space to explore creativity, discover new interests, and build life skills through hands‑on experiences.
Each morning began with the chanting of sacred Gita shlokas, setting a calm, positive tone for days filled with learning and fun. Students enthusiastically participated in activities like Clay to Creation, Dough Zone, Storytelling & Theatre, Rhythm & Release, and sports adventures including squash, archery, and horse riding.
The camp concluded with certificate distribution and a lively Jamming Session, celebrating creativity, friendship, and joy.

The two-day Teachers’ Professional Development Program at Royal Global School, led by Dr. Arup Mukhopadhyay, was an enriching learning experience centred on “Principles of Best Academic Practices in New Age Education.”
The sessions reinforced the importance of adopting a student-centric and inclusive approach to teaching, where every learner is empowered to achieve their full potential. Key discussions focused on effective curriculum planning, pedagogy, and assessment, with emphasis on aligning teaching strategies with clear learning objectives. We also explored the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Personalised Learning, and High Performance Learning (HPL) to create engaging, equitable, and future-ready classrooms.
Another significant takeaway was the effective use of Feed Up, Feed Back, and Feed Forward to support continuous student growth, along with the thoughtful integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a tool to enhance teaching and learning while preserving the irreplaceable role of the teacher.
The programme concluded with valuable insights and practical strategies that will strengthen our commitment to delivering meaningful, learner-centred education.
Royal Global School proudly inaugurated Royal MakerCamp 2026, a two-day experiential learning programme that brought together students from Grades III to XI for an exciting journey of innovation, creativity, and hands-on learning.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by our respected Director, Dr. Arup Kumar Mukhopadhyay, along with representatives from the Sparkbee Foundation, faculty members, and enthusiastic young participants. In his address, the Director encouraged students to embrace curiosity, think beyond textbooks, and learn through exploration and collaboration. The camp also welcomed participants from schools across the region, as well as students from the United States and Canada, adding a truly global dimension to the experience.
Organised in collaboration with the Guwahati-based Sparkbee Foundation, the programme was coordinated by Mr. Nabojyoti Gupta, STEM In-charge, Royal Global School, whose dedicated efforts played a pivotal role in bringing this initiative to life. Through engaging activities in STEM, robotics, coding, and innovation, Royal MakerCamp 2026 inspired young minds to think creatively, solve real-world challenges, and take confident steps towards becoming the innovators of tomorrow.

Our Special Coaching Camp for the CBSE Games 2026–27 concluded on 30th June 2026. We are proud of our young athletes for their dedication, discipline, and hard work throughout the camp.
A heartfelt thank you to our coaches and support staff for their constant guidance and encouragement. Wishing all our players the very best as they represent our school with pride, passion, and sportsmanship.
Our Support staff also took part in a dedicated wellbeing session where they explored their own "happy place" and reflected on the importance of finding joy in everyday moments. Through guided discussions and interactive activities, they recognised how a positive mindset, gratitude, and emotional wellbeing can strengthen relationships, enhance their work, and contribute to a happier and more supportive school community.
The sessions ended with an appreciation activity where each participant wrote a heartfelt letter to a colleague. It was an opportunity to acknowledge one another's strengths and recognise the difference that a few genuine words of appreciation can make.
Our Faculty members came together for wellbeing sessions focused on reflection, appreciation, and self-care.
The sessions encouraged participants to focus on what they can control and let go of what they cannot. It was a reminder that trying to control things beyond their influence often creates unnecessary stress, while directing their energy towards their own mindset, actions, and relationships helps them respond more positively to everyday challenges.
One of the highlights for our teachers and activity staff was a newspaper poetry activity, where they created meaningful poems by selecting words from an ordinary newspaper. The activity reminded participants that, just as we choose words from a page full of text, we also choose what we focus on in our classrooms and daily lives. Even in the midst of challenges and distractions, teachers have the opportunity to create meaningful learning experiences and make a lasting difference in the lives of their students.
Our sports coaches participated in a silent team-building challenge using limited resources, reminding us that teamwork is not always about talking. Trust, observation, adaptability, and a shared purpose often speak louder than words.
As part of Royal Global School’s ongoing commitment to student well being, our sessions in the month of June encouraged meaningful conversations, reflection, and personal growth.
Through interactive activities, students built resilience and explored practical strategies to manage emotions and everyday challenges. Grade 10 reflected on life beyond academics, Grades 7 and 8 explored responsible social media use, and our boarding students focused on kindness, harmony, and building a caring community.

On 20 June 2026, the campus of Royal Global School, Guwahati came alive with rhythm, melody, and creativity as students showcased their artistic talents in three major inter-house performing arts competitions—Surmayee (Hindi Group Song Competition), Rhapsody (English Group Song Competition), and Taal (Group Dance Competition).
The events witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across Grades VI–XII, who displayed exceptional teamwork, confidence, and stage presence while competing before judges, teachers, and peers.
Surmayee – Hindi Group Song Competition
Held at the Broadway Auditorium from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, Surmayee provided a platform for students of Grades IX–XII to express inspiration through the power of music. Based on the theme “Inspirational Songs,” each house presented melodious performances that reflected positivity, determination, and hope.
Coordinated costumes, meaningful lyrics, and the skillful use of musical instruments enhanced the performances, creating an engaging and memorable musical experience for everyone present.
Rhapsody – English Group Song Competition
Hosted at the Broadway Auditorium from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Rhapsody featured talented singers from Grades VI–VIII. Staying true to the theme “Inspirational Songs,” students delivered energetic and uplifting performances that highlighted their vocal abilities and teamwork.
Each house showcased creativity and confidence while conveying inspiring messages through music, earning enthusiastic applause from the audience.
Taal – Group Dance Competition
The much-awaited Taal competition transformed the Colosseum into a vibrant celebration of movement, expression, and culture. For the Grades VI–VIII category, participants performed under the theme “Din Wo Suhane,” presenting nostalgic and expressive dance routines that beautifully captured cherished memories and emotions.
The Grades IX–XII category explored the theme “Create Your Own,” encouraging students to conceptualize and choreograph original performances. The dancers demonstrated remarkable creativity, coordination, and storytelling through a blend of freestyle and contemporary dance forms.
Through music and dance, participants demonstrated not only their artistic abilities but also the values of teamwork, dedication, and perseverance. The school congratulates all participants, house mentors, organizers, judges, and faculty members for making these events a memorable success.
The Inter-House Declamation Competition Vyakhyaan for Grades IV and V was conducted with great enthusiasm, providing students a wonderful platform to showcase their oratory and public speaking skills.
Participants confidently portrayed renowned personalities from diverse fields and delivered inspiring speeches with remarkable clarity, expression, and conviction. Their performances reflected thorough preparation, effective voice modulation, and strong stage presence, captivating both the audience and the judges.

Royal Global School successfully conducted a three-day Woodcut Graphic Art Workshop from 23rd to 25th June, led by Nabajyoti Phukan.
The workshop introduced students to the traditional art of woodcut printmaking, where they explored its history, learned layout design techniques, and created striking black-and-white compositions. On the final day, students experienced the joy of bringing their artwork to life through the printing process.
The workshop was a wonderful hands-on learning experience that nurtured creativity, artistic expression, and an appreciation for traditional art forms.
Magic came alive at the Show and Tell Competition for Grades 1 and 2 as our young learners stepped into the enchanting world of fairy tales. From brave princes and graceful princesses to magical
castles, fairies, dragons, and enchanted objects, each presentation was filled with imagination and confidence.
Using simple props and creative costumes, the students expressed themselves with enthusiasm in English, transforming timeless stories into engaging presentations. The event provided a wonderful platform to nurture communication skills, creativity, and self-confidence while celebrating the joy of storytelling.
It was truly a delightful showcase of imagination, expression, and the magic of fairy tales.

Students and teachers paid tribute to the great artist and cultural icon of Assam, Bishnu Prasad Rabha, by offering floral tributes and remembering his invaluable contributions to Assamese culture. The programme concluded with an inspiring speech and a musical performance, making the celebration meaningful and memorable.
Royal Global School celebrated International Yoga Day 2026 with immense enthusiasm as students, teachers and administrative staff came together to embrace the timeless practice of yoga. Conducted simultaneously at multiple venues across the campus, the event echoed with the soothing chants of yoga mantras as participants performed asanas, pranayama and Surya Namaskar in perfect unison.
Guided by our Yoga Teacher, Mr. Jayesh Gosai, the celebration reflected this year’s theme, “Yoga for Healthy Ageing,” highlighting yoga’s role in fostering physical vitality, mental well-being and inner harmony throughout life.

Royal Global School congratulates Master Dhrishnu Raaj Baishya (Grade II) in Under-8 Category and Master Jihan Choudhary (Grade VII) in Gold Under-14 Category for winning Medals in the 500m Ring Race at the All Guwahati Inter School Speed Skating Competition 2026, held in Guwahati on 7 June 2026. The event was organized by the Assam Speed Skating Association.
RGS Boarders took part today in the World Bicycle Day organised by Sports Authority of India at Sarusajai Stadium, Guwahati escorted by Mr Ashok Talukdar, Mr Ravi Verma, Mr Diganto Mahato and Ms Suhita Chanda. World Bicycle Day is an annual United Nations observance celebrated globally every year to highlight bicycle as a sustainable, eco-friendly, and affordable mode of transport.
Environment Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by students of Grades 1 to 5 through a variety of meaningful activities. Grade 1 students participated in a cleanliness drive, promoting the importance of keeping their surroundings clean. Grade 2 engaged in poster-making, while Grade 3 showcased their creativity through poem and slogan writing.
Grade 4 students made seed bombs, learning about planting and nurturing greenery. Grade 5 students created useful items through “Best out of Waste” and also prepared “Save Earth” posters.
The activities helped instill awareness and responsibility towards protecting the environment among students.
